About Routley FC
our Origins
Routley FC History
Routley FC began in 2022 as a small group of kids and adults meeting at Routley Park and the Langley Events Centre for weekly scrimmages. The goal was simple — enjoy the game, get extra touches, and create a positive football community.
As the group grew, so did the ambition. We quickly began competing in the Academy Super League (ASL), where we dominated from the start. Building on that success, we moved into the Fraser Valley Soccer League (FVSL) and continued our rise, culminating in an outstanding first season in the U19 Premier League, finishing in the top 3 and reaching the cup finals.
From casual Sunday sessions to elite competition, Routley FC has evolved into a club built on European-style training, structured development, and a mission to provide players with opportunities to progress and showcase their talents, including pathways overseas.
